on the same lines I'd like to see truly independent movies. Ya know not the one's made by a subsidary of Sony. And filmed live bands. Ya know the ones, though i love sarah mclachlan, that are independent or unknown but still tear up the place with beeeutiful musak. and some real news not funded by Kraft. Sun, January 16, 2005 - 10:00 AMI have some great stuff to contribute as soon as I get my new computer up and running with a DVD burner. I have 2 Ween shows that I shot a few years back, a Nomeansno show, and a feature film (Washington Interns Gone Bad), all of which I shot back when I lived in Washington, DC. Hopefully within the next few weeks.
I'd also like to second the idea of showing Troma films! Citizen Toxie was shot in my home town, and my mother's old high school was the Tromaville School for the Very Special. -

Wed, January 19, 2005 - 3:47 PMi think any documentaries on weird psych experiments that would currently be banned (Zimbardo Prison Studies/Stanford Prison Experiment etc.) - ya know any kind of social control theory or heart of darkness in action research prompted by WWII and unfettered by ethical limitations - would be interesting to see.

Only vaguely about a boyfriend coming to dinner at his girlfreind's parent's house, plus a lot of funky weird experimental cutting and hilarious non-sequitur dialog.
A LOT funnier than David Lynch. Plus, it's art!
